Тема заняття: Природа і навколишнє середовище. (Nature and environment).
Мета:-практикувати учнів у використанні лексики за ситуацією;
-практикувати усне непідготовлене діалогічне мовлення за темою;
-розвивати комунікативну компетенцію та навички читання;
-розвивати мовну здогадку;
-виховувати в учнів дбайливе ставлення до навколишнього середовища;
Обладнання: тематичні таблиці, малюнок,комп’ютер,роз даткові картки з завданнями,презентація.

T: Good morning children!

T: Today we are going to have an unusual meeting.My name is Nataly.
II. Презентація теми
T: Now, I’d like you watch a picture and look at the keyword of a crossword .Guess what is it? The topic is: “Nature and environment”. Now look at the blackboard and solve the crossword .

So, there are four kinds of pollution

is when harmful gasses are released in the atmosphere that we are not supposed to breath
is when harmful pollutants are thrown on land such as landfills, or regular people throwing garbage on land etc.
is when harmful pollutants are released in the ocean, rivers, lakes such as oils, garbage etc.
is when harmful noises are released in an area; cities have a lot of noise pollution. Noise pollution can be cause be construction, trains etc.

T: Now, let’s play the game “ Noughts and Crosses”.
T: Pupils divide in to two teams. One team will be “Noughts ” , and other will be “Crosses”. Every team choose the number and read the question. If pupils give the right answer , the teacher instead of the number put the badge of the team which give the answer: “X” “O”
Tasks
- A very large wave. ( Tidal wave)
- A group of people who put out fire ( Fire brigade)
- A very strong wind ( Hurricane)
- A sudden movement of the Earth’s surface ( Earthquake)
- A large amount of water, covering a surface that’s usually dry ( Flood)
- To save someone from danger ( To rescue )
- It’s erupted and caused a huge cloud of smoke ( Volcano)
- A place where there are a lot of shops and houses ( Town )
- You can swim there ( River )
